Audio recorded conversations between overweight and obese adolescents and their primary care physicians
The MURDOCK Study, or the Measurement to Understand the Reclassification of Disease of Cabarrus/Kannapolis, is Duke University’s longitudinal health study working to reclassify health and disease through advanced scientific technologies, expertise from Duke researchers, and close collaboration with our strong network of local and regional community partners.
The MURDOCK Integrated Data Repository contains data collected from study visits and annual follow-up questionnaires. Data collected during the enrollment visit includes self-reported lifestyle, demographic, medication, and health information, as well as clinical measurements. Follow-up questionnaires collect updated, self-reported information on an annual basis.
Includes 461 audio recorded preventive and chronic care encounters between overweight and obese patients and their primary care physicians, along with accompanying surveys from patients and physicians.
